The Pioneer Valley Health Careers Opportunity Program (PV-HCOP) is a program sponsored by the United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). The goal of the program is to create an allied health career workforce that reflects the racial and ethnic characteristics of the greater community, with special focus on assisting high school students from diverse backgrounds to enter and graduate from a health or allied health professions program (excluding nursing) at the associate's degree or bachelor's degree level and beyond. The Pioneer Valley HCOP will be collaborating with public schools of Springfield, Holyoke, and Franklin County.
