Public Health and Health Sciences Career Pathways Training
Elizabeth Baldwin, a UMass School of Public Health and Health Sciences graduate student and PV-HCOP Teacher Advocate, has developed a training guide that addresses pathways to a public health career. The goal of the training is to increase the diversity of professionals in the public health field. The training guide consists of a three-part, 50 minute training for community college students designed to take place initially in existing classes on campus. Though designed for community college students, this training can be tailored to accommodate those at the high school level as well.
